Workshops

A person’s or an organization’s past is simply our inheritance to ourselves; we have no choice but to be prepared for our future. The three workshops, described below, are designed to help our clients engage their future.

THE PREPARED MIND WORKSHOP:
EIGHT SKILLS THAT PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE

Your job has four essential components: (1) to sense the changes happening around you and your organization; (2) to make sense of those changes; (3) to decide on a course of action; and (4) to get the entire organization to act. Every one of the four steps, although conceptually obvious, is harder than it seems; and, to make matters even tougher, time is not on your side — the cycle from sensing to responding is accelerating. This workshop identifies the skills you and your organization need to work the sense-response cycle to your advantage.

CRITICAL & STRATEGIC THINKING WORKSHOP

Critical Thinking describes the mental process of determining what to believe and what to do about our beliefs. Strategic Thinking applies this process to the future of the organization. This “minds on” workshop improves the ability of the participants to think strategically by taking them through the seven components of a comprehensive process and providing tools and techniques to accomplish each of the components while considering their four futures.

TWENTY PATTERNS OF INNOVATION WORKSHOP

After fifteen years of cost control, lean thinking and finding all of the “low hanging fruit” companies have come to the conclusion that the linchpin of future profits is to be found in top-line growth, not just control of costs. If the dictate to “Think out of the box!” is not practical enough for you, then this workshop is what you need. Mankind has been innovating for hundreds of years and there are patterns that exist. This is an opportunity to create the future by looking at the past.
